I deleted a category. Are my series deleted?

No. The series become uncategorized and remain available from the dashboard. See Delete a category.

What is the difference between deleting a series and deleting all its measures?

Deleting a series removes the series and all its measures. Deleting all measures clears its history but keeps its name and settings. Both actions are irreversible.

Why do statistics change with the period?

Statistics are recalculated from the displayed values. The period, granularity, and aggregation can therefore change the result. See Read charts and statistics.

Why does my CSV export not exactly match the chart?

The chart can show aggregated values, while the CSV contains raw measures. Several measures can therefore produce one point in the chart and several entries in the file.

Why does a particular threshold apply?

DataJot uses the first threshold whose condition matches. Check their order in the visualization configuration.

Does deleting a unit delete my series?

No. The series remain available but lose their associated unit.

Can a visualization configuration be reused?

Yes. The same configuration can be associated with several series. Editing it then affects each of those series.

Can I correct a measure that was already added?

Yes. Open All Measures from the series menu, select the measure, then edit its value or date. The existing measure is replaced without creating a duplicate.

Do widgets create data?

The add widget creates a measure with the configured value. The chart widget displays a series without creating measures.

Can DataJot read HomeKit directly?

No. A shortcut must retrieve the HomeKit value and pass it to a DataJot action as a number.
