DataJot 1.6 is available on iPhone. This update brings together new tools to organize your series, adjust charts, and access your data through widgets and system features.

Here are the features and fixes in this version since DataJot 1.5.1.

Organize several series at once

From the dashboard or a category, selection mode lets you move several series to another category or leave them uncategorized. You can also drag the selection to a category and undo a move.

Deleting selected series requires confirmation and also removes their measures. It cannot be undone.

Adjust charts and statistics

A grip below the chart lets you change its height on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You can adjust statistics directly below the chart: choose the primary indicator, hide one, or add another. Average, median, minimum, and maximum can also appear as reference lines.

These choices change the visualization configuration and apply to every series sharing it. The documentation explains how to customize statistics.

Select several measures

The value list lets you select several measures and delete them after confirmation on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Editing remains available when exactly one value is selected.

The full list remains independent of the period displayed in the chart. Read Delete several measures before deleting a selection.

See the latest measurement on the Lock Screen

The new Latest measurement widget shows a series’ last recorded value on the iPhone or iPad Lock Screen. Inline, circular, and rectangular formats are available, without a period filter.

Tapping this widget or the chart widget opens the corresponding series. Widget refreshes remain periodic and depend on the system; they are not real time.

Follow the steps to configure the Lock Screen widget.

Enter time with the keyboard and return to your last view

Settings let you choose wheels or keyboard entry for the time when adding or editing a measure. This choice applies on the current device and follows its time format.

Each series also returns to the last view you chose on that device: chart or value list. The default view is used on the first visit, until a choice has been saved.

Siri, Spotlight, and Shortcuts

On iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, DataJot’s suggested actions let you add a value, read the latest aggregated value, or open a series. Series can also be found in Spotlight and opened directly in the app.

Deleting measures with Shortcuts now requires authentication and confirmation before execution. Deletion remains irreversible. See the available actions and automations.
